He deployed three times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, taught Environmental Engineering at West Point, and served from platoon leader to battalion commander. His time in uniform, witnessing the ever-increasing need for power, inspired him to start his new career as a renewable energy developer of wind, solar, battery storage, and green fuel projects.
